21 Feb Creating Content Interoperability and New Recurring Revenue Opportunities for Knowledge Products
We worked closely with the American Joint Committee on Cancer (the AJCC) to help them move the Cancer Staging Manual, a widely used medical reference book, into a structured content model. This made it possible to license this information for use by health information management systems and to deliver the content to those systems via APIs. The result is a faster reference process for clinical users, access to more current content, and a highly searchable content structure.
We worked closely with the AJCC and Scriptorium Publishing on this migration to an advanced information architecture and the easyDITA CCMS. We have published a comprehensive Case Study, including a technical approach doc, an interview with Laura Myer, Director of the AJCC, and an overview Case Study of the entire project. For free access to this Study visit our AJCC Microsite Page.
