Structured Content

Structured content is organized in a consistent and standardized manner through predefined structures or formats, facilitating automation, reuse, and adaptability across different platforms. The primary goal is to ensure easy accessibility, reusability, and scalability of information.

Structured content contains Metadata like tags, categories, or attributes that help computers better understand what the content is about. One of the main benefits of structured content is the ability to reuse content across channels, devices, or applications. Common approaches to structured content include markup languages like XML (eXtensible Markup Language) or more specialized standards like DITA (Darwin Information Typing Architecture).
